Fashion and latest trends aren’t something universally applicable to every person.
I love depicting things, one can often find me practicing figure painting.
Inspiration is impossible to summon, as it tends to find its own out-of-the-blue type of way to dawn on you. True inspiration is the joyous emotions one might come to experience any time, even when you’ve just got out of bed and saw the sun shining through the window.
My favourite smell is the scent of my mum, nothing else can compare to it, and it’s impossible to confuse with anything, or, moreover, forget. And also the scent of the old black piano that reminds me of childhood.
Being friends with mum is crucial. Friends may be friends, but mum is your dearest person on Earth who will never betray you. Surely friends are someone who you, too, can trust, although one can only test their loyalty once he gets himself in some really challenging situation.
Doesn’t matter, if you’re working in a massive corporation or a tiny PR group, what’s important is that you’re devoted, love your job, and are totally absorbed into it. Everything else will come sooner or later.
I don’t think I’m a downright careerist. I’m not picturing myself being a general director of some huge company, I just want to find self-fulfilment, which does, however, imply career growth.
Depression is a negative and destructive emotion, it doesn’t bear any positive strands. However, a little bit of alienation and sorrow is good for everybody, even if we take it as just another stage in the process of exploring and experiencing all of life’s emotions. My one colleague says I’m like a mink — as snappy and restless (laughs).
I wouldn’t want to be as famous as Michael Jackson, for example, because it’s the way our life is that there’s always a price to pay. If you’re tremendously successful, this means your private life is a disaster.
Michael Jackson was my only true idol. I never belonged to the army of his frenetic fans, those who used to go wild at his concerts, but admired the grandness of his music and him as a personality. This wasn’t just music — this was a powerful emotion, passion, pain, and love, all joined together. But what’s even more important, is that his wonderful rhythms were an attempt to resolve the most crucial problems the world was facing. It was my dream — to get to his concert — but, unfortunately, it will now never come true.
I don’t like modern art, because I simply don’t regard it as genuine art, but rather one of the ways for an artist to express himself that might as well be hanged in his apartment, where everybody will be able to come to have a look at it, once they do feel this urge. This has nothing to do with art, this has nothing to do with beauty, this doesn’t bring me positive emotions (we’re not talking about the art of photography here though).
