The phenomenon, when a 25-30 year old artists can take themselves for the ones creating art is possible in Russia only. Well, let’s take western hair stylists’ magazines, and you will see that all the professionals running master-classes are over 50.

Our generation produces the perspective goods for oligarchs in our shabby and hollow studious.

Well, I was greatly disappointed having learned that one will not make money in the world of Gloss.

People who come over and say: “Do as you wish” reflexively expect you to do exactly what they want.

I do not apply one tenth of all that I can do when working with the customers, as it may be absolutely unwearable.

Teaching is a business of much more profit comparing to working in a studio. Still it’s quite closed-door and I am really happy I am there.

I know guys who conduct extraordinary seminars and they really can make a real professional out of lummox. And you know what, they have never worked in studios.

Nowadays we are at the crossway, I mean reconstruction of our business is not over yet.

About five years ago people in Russia urgently started to “pump up” lips, while in the Ukraine it was considered to be extremely naff and vulgarly. And guess what, now the Queen of the Ukrainian show business wears such flapjacks! Well, quite from the heart as they say!

The minimalism era is coming to its end. Now these are the red, the ginger and the yellow, that will rule.

Well, there were times when I didn’t manage to do exactly what I wanted or my customer had expected. I may be so charming or I may be that good in telling stories, but I happened to arrange it all as just that was my only precious plan.

If we look into the communication of a hairdresser with a customer, we’ll get a good situation comedy.

What we’ll get on the customer’s head in the end also does matter, but what is even more important is the attention and patience to listen to the stories about her 5 children, all the dogs, bastard husband, deadwood lover…

Unfortunately, my hobby is my work. We are just like actors, our profession is our disease. Once you got here, you are done. We live in our profession, we eat it.

I’ve got several customers, who give me real energy. Once there will be a time when I won’t take their money, still they will be heartily welcome to come.

I get happy just from taking part in some show, having done some models’ hair for free, splattering spray to their ears.

I’ve got a theatre education and when I don’t have seminars with about 150 participants I may go crazy.

I like cities. I can get inspired even from the horror of the city. You know, there’s one nice city, Kuibishev by name. Guys, I’ve got the message! Had I been born there, I would have been hanged myself. You have one huge factory there which smokes and smokes. Well, people there remind me of horror films like “Wrong turn”. We were taken as a circus there. But you know, still we got the reimbursement when we found rotten TU-154 pitched stiff in one of the town yards.

Once in St. Petersburg I wanted to rent a room in a real communal apartment for 11 families so that I could see Nevsky out of my window. But I damn failed.

My father is said to have gypsies in the nature. I guess that is the reason I don’t tend to stick to one place (laughing).

Magazines are merely pictures for me. I do not know how many orgasms women have, where people are to go for holidays in summer, to Bali or to Maldives…

I spend money on food, on traveling to different cities, on “Kroshka-Kartoshka”… I need to slim, I need to slim.

My cherished dream is to go to Scandinavia with its unusual inhabitants. Well, they are so much unusual that it tells on all the tendencies even on the type of hair dye. They have tried it to launch it in the Russian market, but it turned to be too unusual, you know like “Tikkurila”, but for hair.

American dream exists only for losers. I don’t believe in this country. But there is one place in the Southern Africa where I would go, that is Johannesburg. That would be cool. Well, and America is nothing more than America with its Negroes and McDonald’s.

To notice everything is an integral part of my profession. A girl can be not that pretty but I can see literally made tuning at great distance.

I don’t like to tell stories about myself. I am safe and sound, do you want more? One must not have compassion on oneself as well as meditate on one’s personality.

The crucial problem of the mankind is an extremely sick hunting for money. While taking part in it we forget about other kind of happiness.
