For many years of struggle with myself and with the world there has been developed this rule inside me that I can’t do what I don’t agree with. If I don’t like a classical drawing I’ll never make it, even if I know how to do it. The same thing is with haircut: if my customer asks me to do her a cascade, but she doesn’t have enough hair for it, then I’d better refuse to do it.

A person gains complexes because of uncertainty. When you know who you are and what you are capable of, you have no questions whether you have a good ass, muscles, or tits. This all becomes less important.

Many people can’t understand that to earn money isn’t the most important thing in life. This is like to poop after eating. You can’t do without it but before eating you don’t think that you’ll go to toilet after. So I think that one should treat money the same way.

I distinguish people according to how close I communicate with them. The closest people to me are not analyzed or criticized by me. They are like facts, I feel comfortable with them and I don’t need to decide in details what my attitude to these people is.

Sure I like people, I’ll be bored without them. But 90% of modern society is just a flock.

Many of our designers do their work not because they like it or because it’s their destiny but because to be a designer is cool. “Who are you”? –“Umm…I’m designer. I make those things…” But, fuck, you can’t even look at them, not even speaking about wearing them!

Private life is another conversation. It depends on situation. Whether you meet someone or not. And one shouldn’t be obsessed with it because it’ll only disturb you from other things in your life.

I want to achieve one goal in life: that my life isn’t a burden for me. But to achieve it I need to earn lots of money. (laughing) But you only need to long for it.

Ideal relax is to take your own plane, go to the seaside, get a tan there, swim and get back. I wouldn’t like to spend a week on the beach. For some reason it doesn’t appeal to me.

If I had a possibility I’d to go Tibet or somewhere else where there is silence. Let it be a tent in the forest. I want to rush away from people, noise, calls, e-mails…I need to hear myself, because even when you go to sleep and try to concentrate on your thoughts you can’t do it because there is a clock that is ticking, a fridge buzzing, dogs in the streets barking…In our life it’s impossible to listen to the beating of your own heart. But sometimes you need it badly…

Japanese and all those nations with “closed” eyes are people form the different planet. They have different height, different construction of skull. Their brains work differently! They may still have the third eye and may know two steps ahead, what we’ll be in the future.

One should visit Japan to get technologies. Laziness is the engine of progress and you can see it in the example of Japanese. And it’s great because when you’re not burdened with everyday tasks as washing the dishes you have more time for creation and self-development.

I don’t agree that it’s normal to think that we’re alone in the universe. It’s equal to the idea that when the water is boiling in the kettle, there appears one big bubble except of many-many little. Bang, and all the water boiled away!

My fetishes are minimalism and technologies. I like everything that functions independently from people. That’s why I want to be placed in anabiosis and waken up in 300 years when all this will appear, (laughing) I don’t need those transformers but I want my microwave to know how to cook. Say, I put some products in it and it tells me: “Well-well, it’s chicken…” or my laundry washer to say: “I refuse to wash it!” (laughing)

It’s a big problem for me to choose clothes, even jeans. Even if there’re plenty of them in the store, I’ll not find any. I have a certain image of how they should look like… but there is nothing! Even if I buy something I need to have them altered.

After people’s death there is knowledge that rests. I’m ready to spit to the faces of those who claim that people just die and that’s it. That’s the sense? Well, someone will say that people always look for some sense. But how will you do without it? Otherwise it’ll mean that everything we do, even this interview, doesn’t make any sense. No, after death people’s knowledge is packed in zip-archive and sent by e-mail to God. (laughing) And there is a server there, where everything is stored.
