It's always been some magic that has driven me to my profession. One of our Professors once told us a story about a woman whose life was attempted in a quite awkward way: somebody splashed acid into her face, which turned to a kind of butter-paper after it. Many operations and a long period of time had followed before the women could reanimate. I remember us sitting stiff and listening to this story…

To tell you the truth I skipped lessons while at the University, which gave me the opportunity to work in the clinic and assist at the operation when still a student.

People whom we can not help make the most difficult part of our work.

I try to have an energetic kind of rest: mountain ski, mountain bike, roller skates, tennis. I adore diving. You know once I got extremely interested in one fish while diving and as surprisingly as it may seem it tuned out to be a surgeon fish. The absence of a relevant experience made me touch it which caused a deep cut in my finger. I had to have the cut sutured right at the yacht. I was happy to have my friend next to me, besides he is my colleague too. I men there are no ways for me to escape from work.

I can cook a very delicious lasagna. Much meat, much cheese and spices are the key elements of success.

Rhinoplasty is my favourite kind of operation. This is a highly creative process. It’s like gathering construction kits together. Sometimes we have to split them all and than gather again so that it will look brilliant.

I try to combine the work of a surgeon and audiologist. Once I was driving to meet my patient from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. On my way I was stopped for having driven to the on-going side. Well, I had to call this handsome man and after he talked to Road Patrol Service officer everything was arranged.

Cinnamon flavor is associated with something warm and very aromatic…Like Granny’s piroshky.

Well, at times I get impulses to change something in me myself, I mean to run a minimum surgery interference. But everybody treats it humorously so far. Each time I ask my colleagues to do that they refuse and recommend me to find a proper plastics surgeon.

Just about a year ago I read a book by a great opera singer Galina Vishnevskaya. There were so many emotions and feelings, there was so much of suffering for the native country…That was something that impressed me greatly.

I made lids plastics for the Oriental patients and these were definitely the most exotic operations for me. They aim at having a wrinkle at an upper lid. Afterwards Oriental eyes look somehow unusual and you know, there’s even something European that emerges.

I felt really ashamed and sad when I landed a ball in my friend’s eye when a child. So our awkward tennis match resulted in a black eye and advice at a good doctor’s.

It’s quite seldom that I come across a girl with a good permanent make-up. One should go only to high-profiled professionals to do this.
