«Полный энтузиазма, молодой, оптимистичный, гибкий и смешной — это я в нескольких словах!»
Enthusiastic, young, optimistic, flexible and funny — that’s me in several words!
When you wear a suit, it makes you feel important. It shows that you care about things you do. Your image is important. Even if you wear casual, you have to properly combine different parts of your look.
If the world ends, it would be great not to care about money, about big responsibility and about big pressure. I’d like to be a… well, a gardener, for example! (laughs) Of course, I would get tired of it too in some certain time, but, damn, that would be a nice time to switch to something else and to spend this time in quietness!
I’d never pay for sex! (laughs) Seriously speaking, I’d never pay to buy myself reputation or to pretend that I’ve done something I haven’t done.
Marketing is cool for me, because on one side this thing is pretty much facts-based, and one the other side there’s a lot of creativity in it. Your task is to create cool advertising project or a design for a website, and you have to use all your imagination for it. The only thing constraining you is your budget.
A big corporation makes its every employee, let us say, show some aspects of his personality and not show the others. The hard here is to keep your integrity and not to become someone totally different. You still have to be able to manipulate the system a bit. If you speak whatever you think, you get screwed and get fired. That’s the evil side of corporations. Things are in such way even in Google.
Your work is about developing yourself, having fun and learning stuff. It’s not about playing by the rules and pleasing your boss. Yes, you have to adapt, but you have to preserve your inner self. You need to enjoy your work and to believe in what your company is doing.
Love is about giving yourself and not expecting anything in return.
When I’m depressed, I need to kick something. I go to gym or play rugby. I just need to let that stuff go. I need to feel that frustration, need to get physically tired. That gives me an opportunity to step back from what made me sad.
Soccer is a pussy game. You know, there’s a saying: “Soccer is a gentleman's sport played by thugs, rugby is a thug's sport played by gentlemen”. And in rugby you kick a guy's ass on the field then go to the clubhouse and buy him a beer, clap 'em on the shoulder and wish 'em luck next time.
When technological level of humanity will be high enough, the portability of various devices will allow to make fully digital magazines of the same size as the real ones. And then press will have a hard time.
I do like the physical feeling of having a book in my hands. I like the smell of it, the feeling of touching the pages. This is totally different, and no high-tech gadget can compare to it. My Kindle (Wireless reading device distributed by Amazon.com — TN) is great, but I keep buying books. You just can’t put all your gadgets on a shelf and say that this is your library.
Downloaded music and discs you bought differ from each other greatly. And this is not only about money. This is about your effort and your time. That means that you really wanted to have that album.
