«For 22 years of public life I learnt to know people. And in most cases I’m right. I also can pin a label on people. But unlike those who ask on meeting: “Well, have you found your dog?” I do it after careful consideration»

Many children went to kindergartens and schools, for me it was usual to go on tours in different cities and perform.

The project “Rodion Gazmanov” and the song “Lusi” became obsolete in a certain moment. My voice started cracking and I realized that I needed to get an economic education and build my life further. I studied in London for 2 years, after what I finished the Financial Academy in Moscow.

Your childhood ends when you lose your virginity. I don’t mean sex but the situation for example when for the first time you fight for money. My childhood cracked when I was 9. I saw behind the scenes two- meters- high- dolls of Mickey Mouse and Cheburachka beating up each other badly for a pack of cigarettes. I was standing there and my childhood was breaking up.

I like it more in Russia. London seemed to me to be very gray because of the weather, atmosphere and people’s clothes. Yes, there’re beautiful and interesting places there but nevertheless I choose Moscow for living. I can go to Britain for a weekend to have a rest or go to clubs without any problem.

The more you know a person, the more you understand how versatile he is. I’ve known my father for 28 years. When my flat was under repairs I moved to him. After half a year I realized that my moving didn’t make us closer because we had absolutely different schedules. We communicate in skype more then tête-a-tête. But on the other hand we communicate not only as a father and a son but as partners in business, composers and critics.

As far back as in childhood I got to like the hardware and as soon as there appeared new equipment at home I was the first to study it. So, from the age of 7 I’ve been responsible for all the apparatus.

I go in for extreme sports not because it’s dangerous. I just like it. I used to be keen on sporting paintball but couldn’t play for long because of the knee trauma.

I can’t live without a mobile phone. It’s my world. I can forget my pants at home but not my mobile. I’m always on-line, always in communication, in touch with my private and corporative e-mails and site’s statistics. For the last 5 years I’ve switched off my mobile only in planes.

For 22 years of public life I learnt to know people. And in most cases I’m right. I also can pin a label on people. But unlike those who ask on meeting: “Well, have you found your dog?” I do it after careful consideration.

There are not very clever girls who come to Moscow to find a well-to-do businessman and have a baby from him. The clever ones look at the man’s appearance and soul. My half is a partner in life who can hide my weak points. They say: “You tied yourself up with the bonds of marriage”. If there are bonds what for do I need them? The marriage should inspire you.

The worst thing I’ve done in my life I mixed Bacardi with duchesse lemonade. Conclude yourselves. (laughing)

Money…in many cases shows your importance and status in society. On the other hand it delivers you from barter. I know how to bake, another man knows how to sew boots. We don’t need that complicated process of changing one thing for another — we can just buy them.

I like wearing good clothes. Irreproachable appearance is necessary for me to feel comfortable. Meanwhile I don’t seek for the first novelties and don’t sit in the first lines on fashion shows. I go there just to meet my friends.

Lately I’ve become interested in cigars. Cigarettes are just tobacco waste that is left after the cigars were made. What the hell should I smoke those slops? Good cigar is a whole history, like a bottle of good expensive wine.

Karaoke is a crime against developed musical mankind. Although it all depends on the performer. I prefer visiting karaoke-clubs where there are no people without voices who may order after drinking in the 100th time the song “Vladimirskiy Tsentral”.

I don’t abuse filthy language but sometimes I can allow myself to use it just to expand the emotional frameworks and verbal potentiality of my ideas. When at work I don’t raise my voice and don’t use dirty language. If your employee can’t apprehend the information you try to get to him without shout, it’s better to replace him.
