When I need to specify the currency rate changes, and get pop-up image of Lexus instead I tend to think: “What is it all about? This is the rate I do need!”

A status is some certain level in the social hierarchy which is achieved through a person’s actions and potentials. Such person can have some exclusive privileges as compared to other citizens.

I’ve been working days and nights since 1992 and that makes me feel sure about the fact that I’ve gained some internal status. You know today I mostly deal with more prosperous and more prominent people that before.

There’s a kind of a complex of characteristics that can reveal a type of person you are dealing with in our society. However swindlers often take advantage of this tendency. It’s like we get a customer who ask for a credit. And when you look at him you can see gold watch and “Mercedes” parked just around and all these kinds of things… But in reality he has absolutely nothing.

I have no time to follow fashion, I use well-tried symbols: I mean if I buy a car that will definitely be “Audi”, and Breguet speaking about watch.

I haven’t worn neck ties for two years because they really irritate me.

Dress code is destined to identify people’s relations in our sphere.

My wife has lately slipped me some book by Hemingway and I began longing for Cuba, I wanted to go there, to look at the ocean, to feel the local colour.

Extreme sports have no appeal to me, you know, I’ve got enough adrenalin in my day-to-day life. I am not ready to risk for example by parachuting as it contains much less value as my life as such. I am reluctant to break the legs and stay in a hospital for a couple of months. (smiling).

Why should one stake one’s life when it’s quite short in itself.

In the rare occurrence when I find myself in the tube I feel happy to get the opportunity to watch people. It’s like another life underground. Look, there’s a man up here and there’s a woman up there. It gives you certain emotions I’d rather say positive ones than negative.

A car is a vehicle which makes a man socially isolated.

When at dacha I can wear ragged shorts and worse for wear T-shirt and be absolutely happy about it. Such kind of freedom amuses me greatly.

Once I take a cigarette I get my thoughts unscrambled. This must be some interconnection between physical and mental activities. I start thinking in a more clear way, that is for sure.
