«I believe in boomerang law: you’ll get back absolutely the same you give away»

My parents made me play the piano when I was a small girl and I strongly hated it by the third form. Unlike my sisters I have never dreamt to connect the whole of my life with art. I was quite a reserved and screwed-up child, this was what made me choose the actress career.

The pleasure of my occupation lies in the fact that it allows me to stay very calm in day-to-day life. I’ve got so many various roles on the stage that I am quite full of hysterical, aggressive and untraditionally oriented characters and prefer to let them stay there.

In the third year of GITIS Academy I decided to learn to cry just out of blue… So I started working at the thing and tried to suddenly start crying every day. First I needed 30 minutes to succeed, then the period reduced to 15, 10 and nowadays I can do this whenever I want.

I feel a bit frightened to drive in Moscow. You are definitely going to get into an accident if you go by the rules. Here you are expected to forget all the regulation right after the driving courses. It’s all about the law of the jungle here: first — I need to, second — I am ruling here.

I liked to star in the film “Full Blooded Sisters”, where I played the role of the character, rather not typical of my natural inside. That was an impudent girl from a children’s home, who sold utensils in the market. After a while she becomes a business woman. It was highly interesting to transform from one character to absolutely different one.

I’ve got quite a complicated character but I got aware of the fact relatively late. It was just my mother who told me. Sometimes I can make some really tough decisions. I can part with a man, understanding the hopelessness of the relations, though it can hurt greatly.

Nowadays the tempo of our life is extremely energetic. People tend not to stay too long with each other which makes me disillusion in the institute of marriage. I am 27 and people say it’s high time to get married. But I do not think that a stamp in the passport can change anything. I’d rather say it can ruin it all.

I’ve got less work lately, which enables me to spend more time with my friends, take part in parties. All in all I just rejoice life, which I could not do while at the University.

Despite my itch for sweets I try to stick to healthy lifestyle. I try not to eat right after I wake up and straight before I go to bed. After all the process of women’s putting off weight is endless, it’s like a permanent attribute of their life, you know.

I was greatly impressed by New York. I wouldn’t refuse to stay there for a while but I will never leave my dear Russia for ever, Russians’ gloominess, closedness and rudeness won’t stop me.

I had been so superstitious before I found some book called “Coping with superstitions” in one of the flats where we reeled. I read the piece and it helped me to get rid off the thing. We’ve got to believe that life plots do not depend upon a black cat crossing your way and may be whatever various.

When we were rehearsing “Marmalade” in “Praktika” theatre I happened to get to some after-party RFW, where I found my own character’s prototype. They were gays, “he” was very handsome (I would surely fall in love with him as a girl) and “she” was nothing special. So the “girl” was jealous of anybody they came across. So I am playing the “man”.

You’ve got to do as much as possible in your life. It’s mostly intuition that makes me decide and not my mind. I always try to bring the good to people. I believe in boomerang law: you’ll get back absolutely the same you give away.

I had 9 or 10 phones. The thing is that they are either stolen or I drop them myself. But I just can’t imagine my life without a phone. People are constantly phoning me and I can tackle a great deal of problems on my way.

I play enough of character roles. Now I cherish the idea to work with some brilliant director who will be able to reveal some new trait of mine.

I was madly in love with a man who loved Aqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani. When we kissed off I went to the shop, bought the bottle of Aqua Di Gio and was constantly using the thing just like a fool.
