Creative people are very rarely confined with only one field of activity. Styles, proportions, rhythms, forms and other categories are the same both for graphic designer and architect.

I don’t seek for self-realization while working on my projects. I agree that I create an atmosphere that I feel comfortable in. But designer’s goal is to create an interior where a person will feel more comfortable then anywhere else.

I like creating, detail after detail realizing the look of the future interior, generating ideas and conceptions, selecting materials and decorations, watching grey concrete walls transforming into oases of beauty and comfort.

It’s useless to argue about tastes, for every person there is his own conception of beauty: someone likes tomatoes, someone — cucumbers. (laughing)

Getting more experienced you understand that there are no bad styles and colors. The main criterion is professionalism.

I don’t like listening to music, I’d rather prefer reading or watching, i.e. getting information by eye.

People’s injustice has always touched and driven me mad. It may have to do with a dog having been kicked for nothing in the street or a state which forgets about those who fought for it.

Speaking about whether Russia is a free country or not is useless. Of course, now people live more freely and easily because earlier one couldn’t even make a step aside, everything was dictated by the state. Now everything is easier but there is one big injustice that spoils everything: unfortunately, in our country only a powerful person can be a free person.

I’m very easy to communicate with and it helps me in my life very often.

Family plays a great role in my life, I even couldn’t imagine it to be so. (laughing) Maybe common business was a result of the desire to spend more time together and achieve goals together as well.

I have difficult relationships with the cinema. I don’t like watching films in cinema, because most of popular films’ scripts are predictable and there is no need to wait for the end if you understand what it’ll be like. What about films “not for everyone”, art-house, they are very difficult for me to watch because I always feel and divine what emotions authors wanted to get from the audience.
