In 1993 my Mom offered me to leave for the United States with her, I looked around and decided that I wouldn’t lose much if I left. I wouldn’t say that I am a betrayer. I am still having my Russian passport.

I’ve had always had an ill habit to do the things that people prohibit me to do. So you’d better not tell me not to push the red button! (laughing)

It sometimes occurs that you make plans and set goals and then something happens that throws all your plans down the drain.

Just imagine: a small 9 year old boy from Moscow surrounded by negroes, Latino Americans, attending school in an urban region of Cleveland. You learnt to get your bearings very quickly when you find yourself in such an atmosphere.

A man is defined by his deeds, by his ability to behave decent even in a heated situation. And here I am speaking not about action films characters. You may get scared shitless but you shall remain impassive.

People do not believe that I am Russian. I don’t even have a typical kind of accent.

I adore dogs, cats being evil. I am allergic to them. Well, to tell you the truth I like cats but they’d better stay off. I prefer a dog’s sincerity to a cat’s conceit.

There was a moment I darted off to Russia and met my dream girl, who became my wife. I came here, looked around and hung here for some 5 years.

I couldn’t even imagine that my life would be connected with music. I was ready with a typical American style life plan you know: University, corporate work, a house to the credit, regular tax allocation, all these sorts of things. My Mom is still grieving over my proper plan and the fact that now I am in Russia.

My music career started with cleaning floors in a recording studio.

Love comes unexpectedly when you are not prepared. Of course you are not prepared for such kinds of things when you are a young Dj, hanging out, running endless parties and having no idea of such a thing to happen.

We are all so sure about the fact that we manage our own lives and we rule it all here. However there occur some events that make you realize that hardly everything lies within our control.

I don’t think that people rejoice the though of going to work on their waking up in the morning. But I do.

Though I got the first turntable at the age of 12, I felt I am a real Dj only this year, 13 years later.

I get irritated when people beat the chest and try to pass their nonsense off as the ultimate truth, being highly ineffective in the issue discussed.

I believe that crisis always works great. It’s like in spring you get to reveal where everybody’s shit lies. I mean people display their real traits and intentions. Lazy ones get off the track. And here we have real professionals and those ready to labor hard instead of wearing out the seat of one's trousers on track. You are not going to provide shit work in crisis period, no way.

Nowadays everybody is a manager, whoever you ask. Who will play the role of ordinary people in this case I wonder?!

To tell you the truth I do like being famous and popular. It feels great when you again get invited to play in some city on having accomplished your work there and the key is the perfection you work with. I do wish that my work and not my face will gain popularity. I think I have time ahead, I am only 25.

I’ve got used to say that I come from Slovenia while on holiday. No way I will reveal my Russian origin. Our tourists strike both the foreign infrastructure and psychology greatly. We are tourists who drink, fight, vomit and leave scorched earth. To cut it shot I am a Slovenian (laughing).

It’s not enough just to stay isolated at home to be left alone. You will have to switch off the Internet, plug out the phone wire, get rid off your handy, TV set, radio and your neighbours behind the wall.

I am a kid of asphalt jungles and I will never exchange the thing to a country dacha, vegetable patches, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers.
