Ever since I was a kid I’ve always wanted to do fashion and arts. I worked with clothing for a while, but then my life turned out in such a way that I came to jewellery. I realized that the art of working with precious stones and the accessories made of them is what was meant for me.

Nowadays fashion business in Russia is marching with seven-league boots. You can see that the level of professionalism of the designers is increasing, there are some new serious design schools starting up that deal directly with Milan and London.

Russian women are now forgetting their magpie-like obsession with shiny fallals. Such concepts as “glitter” and “the more the better” are falling into oblivion. The formation of taste is taking place. Compared to European ladies, who have far more to choose from and who dress very plainly and artlessly, Russian ladies show more individuality and look elegant every day.

In Russia jewellery as a business is growing fast thanks to our Russian customers. It’s well-known that Russian customers are the most demanding. Besides, Russians love investing their money into jewellery, including diamonds, especially large ones.

I like fusion, when a woman knows what she wants from jewellery and feels confident trying different combinations, experimenting with colours of gold and stones.

I try to go with classics. When you work in fashion, you start getting sick of all the excessively flashy shapes, colours, and lustres. So, eventually, after sifting out all the excesses, you come to the harmony of classics.

In the contemporary society a girl has to be a sociable person and have career ambitions. The society is very demanding towards the weaker sex. But every girl still has her own social role in life.

My husband will look after kids and the hearth, while I’ll be earning money. I don’t have any problem with a model like this, after all, everyone has to do what he is best at. At the same time, my husband will remain the head of the family and feel in control.

When I found out that I was going to have a child, I saw a rainbow stretching above my life. I stopped racing around like I used to throughout my whole life, I calmed down and found delight in beholding the world around.

Women all over the world take their babies and even infants with them when going out to a restaurant. But what about us? Doggies — no problem, but when it comes to kids there’s barely any chance you’ll meet somebody with one. Russian girls are ashamed of it, they’re concerned about loosing face.

If a person is dressed poorly and isn’t quite a fashion oriented type, it doesn’t make him a worse person. But whether he would become my friend or even a loved one is a whole different question. After all, the similarity of worldviews is crucial for the process of communication.

I take interest in various forms of sexual relationships and orientations. I have a lot of respect for people’s choices in this sphere. But I myself have never crossed the lines of heterosexual relationships, that’s as much as I’ve been given by nature.

I want to live in Europe. Moscow has become a burden, it gives a lot, but it also pumps a lot of energy out of you. Nowadays it’s possible to have a double citizenship and it’s a necessity to be cosmopolitan.
