Kabbalah teaches us today about what is going to happen tomorrow.
The whole of humanity is looking for the answer to one question: “What’s the meaning of life?” But is this question deep-felt, purposed, and well thought through? When something goes wrong in one’s life, when he is feeling even a slightest dissatisfaction, he already starts asking: “What’s the meaning of my life”.
First of all, I’d like to make it clear that Kabbalah is not a religion, or medieval mystics, or magic, it’s not a complex of obsolete beliefs and superstitions, neither is it some sort of poetic fantasy or a form of abstract philosophy. Kabbalah is a technique of spiritual ascension, practical guide to understanding yourself and the world around you. Kabbalah has its own method of exploring the world. The idea is to open one’s senses to the part of the universe that remains concealed from us, through helping him develop special skills. The word “kabbalah” (Hebrew for “receiving”) represents human aspiration to gain the supreme knowledge, to sense the true nature of the world, and to obtain the answer to the ultimate concern of our being that lies in our search for the meaning of life.
Friendship is the exact same thing as money. It’s just a more perverse form.
What to do with your life? Which way to go? What is that we live for? Why do we live? How and what for did the life emerge? The question of the emergence of life concentrates mostly not on the details of the emergence process, but why this happened and what it leads to.
Only a question that came as a result of a painful struggle, a question that has been narrowed down with absolute precision, can then receive an answer.
My family is the whole world. And the whole world is my family, one big family. Imagine that you’re an egoist, and that you live within your own family following the principle today’s majority lives by — “”to take maximum, to give minimum”. What do you do? You deceive a stranger, so you think, get what you want from him, feeling greatly pleased with yourself, but he is actually a member of your family, your youngest son, for example. So what happens is, you steal food from children, you try to fool them, because that’s the meaning of your life — “to work less and earn more”.
I never know what I’m going to do in the next minute; rather not think about it at all.
The idea of true love is to fulfil the wishes of the other as if they were your own. This would mean that you love your neighbour, not yourself. But you also need the third component here, the one it’s actually all about.
Most of all I like to not think but analyze.
I don’t like to recall my childhood or dwell in the past for whatever reason. Everybody needs to justify their existence somehow, so they make up these illusions of a happy childhood, cottage love, friends, heaven… Never and nowhere in the depths of our egoistic nature does this ever happen, but how magnificent are all the dreams, and sandcastles, and movies, breaching our perception of all the beauty right outside our window to make it seem hideous and absurd. And the new, consciously recognized reality, clear from all illusions, is where you conceive the essence of perfection through love… but not egoism.
I’d never be able to live like before. Life is this very second. There’s no past, no future, there’s only present. The past is not to be recalled — that’s self-destruction.
After I’ve lived in the USA, I realized that Americans haven’t been through what Europe’s been through. They’re a young nation. The inertia of the consumerist society and the cult of dollar is all there is. People are still unable to comprehend the scale of the recession. Confidence in their own society, democracy, is still dominating their minds. Today’s America is on the way to becoming a country it has been fighting against all these years — a socialistic state.
Children are us. We all think that we’ve grown up and turned into adults. Nonsense. What do you do with kids that have become old?
Bernard Shaw wrote: “Democracy is a form of government that substitutes election by the incompetent many (like in America) for appointment by the corrupt few (the way I see it, that’s exactly what happens in Russia). The result of the democratic election is thus converting the large number of ignorant into a small number of bribed.”
My dream is witnessing the world build the state of Kabbalah, its supreme law being “Love your neighbor like yourself”, and all the nations living together as a family — which is implied by the Nature — the universal bond, connecting us all. The formation of separate states contravenes the unity of the world.
A man and a woman constitute the two parts of one whole. Neither is capable of conceiving the Infinity on his own.
