I worked as a psychiatrist in an asylum when young and tended to write the clinical records in the form of essays. The doctors got absorbed into the stories as well as the patients (laughing).

Congenial souls being in one and the same place really matter. I played in Club for the Lightheaded and Quick-witted for “Guys from Baku” and that was when I realized what makes reliability and freedom. It was then when I learnt to get the desired goal.

I love to do great many things: I am a film director, I write scripts, I do the editing myself as well as select the music. That is the underlying reason why I chose producing. Here in Russia it’s a common belief that a producer is nothing more but a guy with money, but in reality it is a “key-person”, a “show runner”, a person which is responsible for the whole process from the very idea to marketing.

The whole of our show industry is just shoddy copy, a mean burlesque. We do not have either history records or professionals or corresponding terms. I have no idea why they have just decided that within these 10 years we’ve become genius in this field. In reality people who are more or less professional have appeared just lately. And the main factor is their own failure experience.

In Russia the crucial parameter for the movie industry lacks. I am speaking about the availability of the statistics on the number of people who have watched your movie. Nothing valuable can be done without this “X”.

To my mind it would be more sensible to alter the Constitution of the RF and to implement lifelong presidentship. What we have now is that the whole country bends the truth. The rules of the game are violated at the very start.

I’ve got so much used to assume the meaning of what our presidents say and to search for the double entendre that Obama’s performance surprised me pretty much. His message is pretty clear! It turns out that is still possible.

However it can be quite dangerous for him himself.

It seems that life lies in searching one’s own object of envy in other people. I never conceal my feelings to my wife, who is the prettiest girl in the world. Everything works out great in my professional field, I perfectly get on with my nearest and dearest and I am not afraid to talk about it. I guess that may be the reason for somebody’s envy.

The good lies in making no evil.

When I got married and I got children my area of responsibility broadened greatly, I became concerned of their future and I guess that is the most important that a man should have.

Once people get there’s not only lies in our life, everything will change.

Decency is the most important human trait for me. It is a genetic notion, decency can not be attained. The way a person treats his roots is not most important. What is really important is his care for the way the coming generations will treat such an ancestor as he himself.

The whole world is just crazy today: speed, technologies, billiards… I thought that apocalypse was just about to come. I couldn’t understand why our “poor” generation had to live in such a tough time. And you know what, once I got up hung-over and realized that every generation must ask the same questions, like: “Can it be worse?” and “Why?”. Afterwards I felt a relief and the apocalypse seemed to move far away. That was the time to take “Alkazelzer”…

I like the rhythm and beat. I like to find myself in a rhythm net, that’s why I have always wanted to learn to professionally play drums. That is the source of mind balance for me.

I can not just do things, I always need competition, and it definitely must be evident, I mean I must see my opponent.

Each time I play football, I do it like for the last time. Now I break a leg, then

I damage a muscle, another time I disjoint my finger. Played once, then relaxing long. That happens about once in two years.

Maradona is a genius and a great football player in sport history! I don’t feel like listening to other opinions! I don’t and you don’t try!

Nowadays we witness a new circle of music contests development in the countries that consider such shows to be the best way to state their national heritage, let’s take for example “Eurovision”. I guess they’d better develop their unique culture and draw it to the people. But agree that it is much more complicated to do than to once run a fake music contest and to spare great deal of money for that.

Man can sell anything today. A lot of new nice colorful magazines emerge, but I can’t get who these people are, what they have done and why should I read about them. It’s a pity that young people are brought up on the basis of such stuff. Well, let’s take the USA. There they have Hollywood with its great personalities, I mean not only these magazines. As for Russia, I sometimes think that we have nothing left but gloss here.

Michael Jackson is the father of real “new”. It was like a big puff-puff that was moving to one direction, when one man reversed the points and everything turned another way. It’s always difficult to make people realize that it’s much better to go another way.

Today the name and the format say more than the humor in itself. Well, if some Harlamov is joking and you don’t get it, you must now, that there’s something wrong with you, no way Harlamov is talking wet. I don’t know if it’s right or wrong. I must confess I myself laugh at Haric’s jokes till cry. But not always…

I have never got offended. Never, at nobody. I prefer to express my discontent at once rather then keep it inside. Most often people do something you don’t like not because they mean it, but just accidentally… They just need to be told about that and they will excuse.

You shall not make for yourself an idol. In case one does, what is this person going to be like? At least he should be more talented, more handsome, faster and brighter than me. And that is absolutely impossible! (laughing).
