I enjoy communicating to absolutely various people, people of different occupations and social statuses.

I am extremely glad about the fact that I come from a remote Siberian town. Living there trained me some certain disciplines which still help me in my life nowadays.

My childhood was not that serene. I devoted most of my time to my music classes, which practically saved me from the street affecting me. But I wouldn’t say that I avoided street brawls completely. Owing to them I have the current personality nowadays.

I can remember my first earning. I was 13 and I was paid 300 rubles for my performance in a night club. That was a fortune for me then!

“Star factory” did not only release my creative traits, but also invested into developing a severe prudence, which is highly typical of show-biz people.

I was trembling during the first Friday concerts at “Factory”, God, I was so nervous. The actor, that I was supposed to perform with at my debut came drunken. Just imagine, we are going to start right after the commercial, I am trembling all over and he wonders if I would like a cognac.

Show-biz is a really tough thing. There are always new people coming who do not let you breath in full swing. Once you’ve become a real celebrity and you are quite popular with your country you may always lose it all in a wink.

I always smile when I happen to hear my songs on the radio. These are the moments I start thinking about the people who invested into me. And an idea crosses my mind that these 12 years of doing what I really like have been not in vain.

The one who works will really be rewarded in this life.

Musicians are all bastards and they can be sincere in their art only. A song helps to self-actualize. It’s one thing when you tell lies in a day-to-day life and it’s absolutely different when you start creating music. People will surely figure out if you lie.

I haven’t read a single book while at school. It was only recently that I started to read. Everything is good in its season! Every classical piece should be read at a certain age, but definitely not at school.

I have no respect for people who don’t know what they want for life.

One mistakes greatly if one thinks that it is possible to make fortune through making music in our country.

Being a good man is not an occupation.

I want to have a person with aims beside me, as a person without aims is a cold pie and I do not need one (laughing).

My attitude towards lip-synching is purely negative. Unfortunately it turns to be an integral part of any process on our television. But we run only alive sound at our concerts.

I consider myself to be a cynic in terms of life and this very approach enables me to live the life I want.
