I’ve got involved into football via an advertisement. Once I read in a newspaper that one of the Russian football clubs completed a new management team, so I forwarded my resume and got into the team. Having got a definite experience my foreign partners and me opened our own football agency.

I do not place emphasis on Roma Pavlyuchenko’s sale, as this was not only me involved into the process. This is more like a chain, which prevents me from assuming the honor personally to me. Moreover the sale of Roman Pavlyuchenko is practically the same as the sale of Vasja Pupkin, the same problems, the same tools are involved, the material level being different.

What moves the football business ahead is friendship. Still no one can profit being not enough professional here.

Football players sale is a really dirty pool, which obliges you to keep the system of liabilities, otherwise you’ll be rejected by the system in itself.

Itch for money must not prevent a person from moving ahead. The people around you — that’s the most precious you gain within your life.

All people envy, I for one try to envy in a way that keeps me move ahead.

My favourite character is Grigory Ganzha, who in “Big Break” movie wrote down in his copy book: “I, Grigory Ganzha, want to take after me myself only”. That was a revelation for me.

Once I find myself at the sea or in the mountains I realize that all this civilized stuff like gloss and luxury peels off in a wink, you being one-to-one with the elements. The later is so serious that you can experience how insignificant you are, feeling total freedom at the same time.

Children look at this world with their eyes being most sincere, ingenious and smart while an adult memory contains a wide experience which prevents adults from penetrating things as they are.

Putting on a “mask” leads to nowhere. Once you will look into the mirror, recognize your reflection and realize where you and your basta are.

They have it all for real in the Western football business, our football industry being merely bidders’ good will. This leads to practically different approaches to business. .

Football fans are evil in Russia, while in the West they are aggressive, in the positive connotation of the word. They bring purely positive energy to the stadium. We haven’t got a culture of rooting, our fans being merely babies (laughing).

When a man does not dream he ceases to believe in miracles. The greatest achievements of the mankind started from people’s dreams.

Once when I was a child I got stuck in a balcony grating with my head.

Everything will change if the itch for money gives way to a man’s desire to spiritually develop. This will be possible only when the new generation recovers from all the stresses that have taken place within the last century.
